Mr. Frederick Kyle Pevey, 76, passed away Friday morning, July 8, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Pevey was born on September 3, 1939 to the late James Erlis and Wilma India Burnsed Pevey in Pembroke. He served four years in the U.S. Navy and 20 years in the Air National Guard with the 165th Airlift Wing, enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Pembroke Masonic Lodge #469 F&AM.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Katherine K. Pevey; daughter, Alison Kroll and her husband David of Traverse City, MI; two brothers, Billy Pevey and his wife Joyce and Quinton Pevey both of Ellabell; sister-in-law, Geraldine Depalma and brother-in-law, Joe Depalma.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 -7 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stan Tyson and Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
