Frank "Frankie" James Yannich Jr., a beloved 20 + year resident of Pembroke, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, at the age of 61. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, on Tuesday, June 9th, 1964, Frankie's journey through life was filled with love, laughter, making memorable moments, and a dedicated impact on those around him. After proudly serving in the Navy, Frankie built a diverse career that reflected his talents, passions, and his strong work ethic. His work was centered around aviation, carpentry & woodworking, along with anything mechanical, and later in life working as a home inspector locally with Landmark 24, where his attention to detail and dependable nature earned the respect of those he worked alongside over the past four years.Frankie was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Frank James Yannich Sr. and Barbara Grace Yannich; his cherished sister, Theresa Pipitone; and his brother-in-law, Joseph Pipitone.
He is survived by his loving siblings: James Vincent Yannich of Conway, South Carolina; Dineen Marie Iannice and her husband, Anthony, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Philip Anthony Iannice of Myrtle Beach. He also leaves behind three adored nieces, one nephew, and a great-grandniece, all of whom will continue to carry his memory and spirit forward.Known for his humor, kindness, and unforgettable personality, Frankie had a way of making people laugh wherever he went always ready with a story or joke, and ready for a picture with a goofy face, and infectious smile. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, and had a lifelong passion for airplanes, motorcycles, cars, tools, and fixing just about anything. He loved spending time outdoors and was competitive in all that he did playing golf, cornhole, darts, ping pong, and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures most when shared with family and friends.Perhaps nothing was more precious to Frankie than the time spent with family and friends enjoying good food, and conversation, often accompanied by allot of laughing and a good cup of coffee.
Frankie's departure has left an indelible mark on those who knew him, but there is comfort in knowing that he spent his final day embraced by the people he cared for deeply, doing the things he loved most.
Visitation will be held at Flanders Powell Funeral Home on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
