Mr. Ernest “Bill” William Davis, Jr., 66, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mr. Davis was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to the late Ernest William Davis, Sr. and Lillie Mae Briggs Davis on August 4, 1951. After graduating high school, he served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and later became a fire fighter on Fort Stewart Army Base.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Shirley McClendon and his parents.

Survivors include two sons, Ernest “Billy” William Davis, III and Bobby A. Davis both of Stilson; daughter, Bridgett Garret of Stilson; sister, Susan Davis Seigler of Ellabell; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Pape officiating.
