It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Erica Gaddy, born in 1987, who passed away on May 30, 2026, in Savannah.

Born and raised in Savannah, Erica later moved to Louisiana, where she spent many years raising her sons, Guy and Sasuke, and building a life filled with friendships, memories, and love.

Erica was free spirited, adventurous, and never afraid to try something new. She was open minded, intelligent, and had a way of making people feel comfortable and accepted. Erica loved her community and cared deeply for the people around her. She never judged others and always welcomed people with kindness and understanding. Her heart and home were open to anyone who needed support, friendship, or simply someone to listen.

She had a lifelong love for horses and equine life, something that stayed close to her heart throughout her life. Erica also enjoyed thrifting and reselling clothes, shoes, and accessories, and she loved animals and pets of every kind.

Erica is survived by her parents, Jerry and Joann Gaddy; her siblings Kevin Gaddy, Toni Grizzard, Nikki Grizzard, and Lilli Grizzard; and her sons, Guy and Sasuke. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jamie and Dean.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Flanders Powell Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the same location on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11am. Burial will be at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.

Erica’s kindness, spirit, and the love she gave so freely to others will always be remembered.
