Mr. Edward T. Austin, 66, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at home with his family. Mr. Austin was born to the late Howard and Mary Hazzard Austin in Amsterdam, NY on December 23, 1950. He worked for many years as a self-employed carpenter, enjoyed stock car, dirt track, and horse racing.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gerald Austin.
Survivors include one son, Jason Austin; three daughters, Tammi Austin, Jennifer Goodwin (Barry) and Kasie Pitt (LJ); three brothers, Bobby (Lynn), Billy (Sandy) and Harry; five sisters, Carolyn (Lenny), Joan (Butch), Robin (Jim), Shirley (Roger) and Darlene (Neil); six grandchildren, Cierra Montana, Faith Wilson, Lauren Austin, Taylor Goodwin, Brenan Pitt and Kenley Pitt and nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones.
Eddie did not wish to have a service. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy may make a memorial contribution to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation at www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org.
