Mrs. Edna Mae Barrow Love, 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Love was born on April 15, 1923 to the late Linton and Isabelle Jennette Barrow in Collins, GA. She was a loving and caring homemaker, a member of Northside Baptist Church, enjoyed making quilts, canning food, was an excellent cook but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Johnnie Lambert Love, Sr.; son, Billy Ray Love and daughter; Edna Louise Allen.
Survivors include three sons; Johnnie L. Love, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Thomas E. Love of Ellabell and Roy Love of Richmond Hill; two daughters, Sandra James of California and Frieda Sikes of Richmond Hill and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeff Spencer officiating.
Interment will follow at Elkins Cemetery.
