Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dylan Winton Driggers, who left this world unexpectedly on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, at the age of 21. Born on a sunny Sunday, January 2nd, 2005, in the charming city of Savannah, Georgia, Dylan was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. Throughout his life, he resided in Effingham County, GA, where he touched the lives of many with his genuine kindness and vibrant spirit.

Dylan was an associate at Daniel Defense, where he was respected and admired by his colleagues.

A man of simple pleasures, Dylan's heart was always drawn to the great outdoors. He was passionate about hunting and fishing, finding peace and joy in these pastimes. He had a penchant for camouflage, often seen donning his favorite camo attire when not on duty. His unique sense of humor and love for jokes could light up any room, and he took immense pleasure in making others laugh.

The bonds he formed were unbreakable, and Dylan had a knack for making new friends wherever he went. Known for his radiant smile and selfless nature, he was the kind of person who would offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Dylan was a dedicated fan of the University of Alabama, never missing a game and always cheering them on with fervor. His energy, kindness, and helpfulness marked every interaction he had, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Dylan’s memory will be forever cherished by his loving parents, Tina Everett (Jessie) and Damon Driggers (Tonya), his devoted twin sister, Kayla Driggers, and his siblings Tyler Ray, Jason Scott, Donovein Everett, Akemi Everett, Elizabeth Everett, and Brian Driggers. He is also survived by his dear aunts and uncles, Emily Driggers, Robert Hall, Geneva Cain, Christie McClendon and Nichole Mineheart, his adored niece and nephew, Evelyn Everett and Kenzo Jones, and numerous cousins who will all deeply miss him.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Billy Cain and Donald Driggers, and his grandmother, Peggy S. Cain, whose memories he lovingly held close to his heart.

A visitation will be held at The Church at Godley Station in Savannah, GA, on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, at the same location, where family, friends, and all whose lives Dylan touched are invited to celebrate his life and legacy.

Arrangements are being handled by Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory, with sincere gratitude to all who have offered their condolences and support during this difficult time. Dylan's laughter, warmth, and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those he has left behind.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
