Dr. William Kerry Smith

Pembroke-  Dr. William Kerry Smith, M.D., age 54 passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus, GA.  Mr. Smith was a graduate of Bryan County High School and Mercer School of Medicine.  He had a family practice in both Albany, GA and Oklahoma.  Kerry was a published author, enjoyed fishing and computers and was an eighth generation Salzburger.

Survivors include his wife, Candis Bacon Smith of Lumpkin, GA; father and stepmother, Kelly and Ann Smith of Richmond Hill; mother, Sue Quattlebaum of Pembroke; one brother, Walter Kevin Smith of Pembroke; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Deavila of Burlington, NC and one niece and one nephew.
