Douglas Allen Snider

Ellabell- Mr. Douglas Allen Snider, age 86, passed away Monday afternoon, July 8, 2024 at his home. Mr. Snider was born in Dublin, GA to the late Glasglow Snider and Arlena Everson Snider. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force Security Services and served as a general manager for National Linen Service for over 25 years. Mr. Snider was an excellent manager at both work and at home. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was an avid golfer and was a member of Emmanuel Community Church. 

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Patricia Ann Morris Snider of Ellabell; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Adam and Clair Snider of Cummings, GA, Allen Snider, Jr. and his wife Carmella, both of Daytona and Douglas Arthur Snider of Savannah; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Melissa and Troy Laird of Jackson, MI; Andrea and Jim Alton of Loganville, Deidre Mimbs of Ellabell and Sharon and Matt Miller of Tampa; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Carol Snider of Ocala, FL; 18 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Emmanuel Community Church in Guyton with Pastor Mitch Lynn officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5102 Paulsen Street, Savannah, GA 31405
