Mrs. Dorothy G. “Dot” Waters, 80, passed away Thursday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Waters was born on August 28, 1935 in Clyde, Georgia. She owned and floral designer at Dot’s Flowers & Gifts, was a lifelong member of Pembroke Christian Church, was an excellent cook and a avid reader.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Thomas A. Waters; sons, Ashton Avery Waters (Jean) of Fulks Run, VA and Brian Waters of Pembroke; brother, Cecil “Dick” Gay of Brunswick and granddaughters, Cara and Carolyn Waters of Statesboro.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 3 – 5 p.m. in the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Sullivan officiating.

Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery.

Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Dorothy G. “Dot” Waters.
