Born on Wednesday, August 14, 1963, in Statesboro, Georgia, Darvin was a cherished son, brother, father, and friend known for his gentle spirit and dedication to his family and work.

Throughout his career, Darvin demonstrated an exemplary work ethic and a passion for craftsmanship. He spent numerous years working as a carpenter and machine operator, making significant contributions to the Shepard Lumber Company, where he worked as a machine operator for five years. Prior to that, he dedicated eight years to Centienal Lumber Company. He also honed his carpentry skills working with Allen Murray for five years, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike.

Darvin had a profound love for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter who cherished spending time in nature. Above all, he treasured the precious moments spent with his family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

He is survived by his son, Darvin Allen Rogers of North Dakota; his brother, Freddie Lee Jr., and sister Carolyn Riner (Lee) of Pembroke, Georgia; and sister Fonda Bray (Derrick) of Claxton, Georgia. Darvin was preceded in death by his father, Darvin Harley Threatt, and his mother, Wynette McGowan.

The family will be holding private services to honor Darvin's memory. Arrangements are being handled by Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory, who have been entrusted with providing compassionate care during this difficult time.

Darvin's legacy of kindness, resilience, and love of family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you cherish your loved ones and keep them close, in memory of Darvin Mark Britt.
