Darlene Derverges Williams

Ellabell- Cynthia Darlene Derverges Williams, age 66, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at her home while under hospice care. Mrs. Williams was born in Savannah, GA to the late Harry and Christine Jackson Derverges. Mrs. Darlene was a homemaker and spent all of her time taking care of her girls and her grandchildren. They are her world. She also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, crafts and keeping her flowers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Terry Levie Williams; one brother, Harry Derverges and one sister Angela Tant.

Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Terri and Charles Gay of Ellabell, Sherri and Chris Davis of Sylvania, Donna Williams of Ellabell and Brandy Williams and Billy Johnson of Guyton; three sisters and two brother-in-law, Sheila and Lamar Coleman of Guyton, Rhonda and Chris Coleman of Guyton and Shannon Derverges of SC and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will follow at 7 P.M. Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
