It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dalton Tyler Maddox, who left us far too soon on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. Born on Friday, August 3rd, 2001, in Statesboro, Georgia, Dalton's brief but impactful life touched the hearts of many.
Dalton was a humble and well-mannered young man with a big heart, known for his kindness and love for all those around him. An avid gamer, he enjoyed spending time playing on his PS4 and creating engaging Facebook reels, accumulating numerous followers who appreciated his creativity. Dalton also had a passion for travel, often cruising and exploring new places with his beloved family. He took great joy in cooking, especially breakfast, and was always eager to share his culinary creations.
Educated in Chatham County Schools, Dalton chose to work alongside his Dad, Robert, in the construction industry. He will be remembered for his dedication and strong work ethic. His faith also played a significant role in his life; having been baptized in 2012, Dalton was a devoted member of the West Broad Street Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he was a member of the Pathfinders Club, choir and the usher board.

Carter, Johnny Lonnon Jr. (Khaliah), Darnell Chisolm (Tosha), and Michael Lonnon; his sisters Brittany Weathers (Casey), Hayden Laboy (Phillip), Tiffany Lonnon, and Eugenia Lonnon. His uncles Ronnie Vincent, Pastor James Black and Karon Black, aunts Michelle Heyward, Johnnie Mae Barnes, Rosena Best, Joy Black and Jessie Miller, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive him.
