Curtis Alvin Woleslagle Jr., of Brooklet, GA, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, at Westwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro, at the age of 84. Curtis was born on Thursday, February 6th, 1941, in Pennsylvania, where his adventurous spirit and love for life began.

Curtis proudly served his country in both the Army and the Coast Guard, exemplifying dedication and commitment in all his endeavors. After his service, he found his calling on the open road as a self-employed truck driver, where he embraced the freedom and exploration that the profession offered.

Curtis was a man of many passions. He was deeply rooted in his Presbyterian faith and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman and a devoted fan of football, baseball, and wrestling, cheering fervently for the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Woleslagle of Brooklet, GA. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: sons Curtis (Tammy) Woleslagle of Newark, OH, and Vincent (Loretta) Woleslagle of Bentleyville, PA; daughters Marjorie (Rick) Grace, and Stacey (JR) Adams, both of Washington, PA; stepdaughters, Lorraine (Ernie) Harper of Florida, Andrea (John) Wiles of Brooklet, GA, and Leanne Simmons of Oliver, GA. He is also survived by his stepsons Therman "Junior" (Crystal) Simmons and Andy (Joyce) Simmons of Pembroke, GA, Mitch Simmons (Billie) of Newington, GA, and Paul (Heather) Turner of Tifton, GA; 26 cherished grandchildren; sister, Joyce Boatman of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Alvin Woleslagle Sr., mother, Mildred E. Baer, stepfather, Boyd Baer, and stepsons Tommy and Mike Simmons.; siblings, Joseph Woleslagle, Clarence "Dick" Lampasas, Guy Woleslagle, William Woleslagle, Ada Mae Malkiewivz, Jacob Loar, and Sarah Woleslagle.

A visitation to celebrate Curtis's life will be held at Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory in Pembroke, GA, on Sunday, January 18th, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow on Monday, January 19th, 2026, at 11:00 am at the same location, with Rev. Russell Rogers officiating. Pallbearers will be Paul Turner, Cole Turner, Shylyr Simmons, Kaggan Cobb, Willis Smith and Kenny Cobb. Burial will be private.

In remembrance of Curtis, those who knew him well are invited to carry forward his legacy of enthusiasm for life, love for family, and passion for adventure.
