Mr. Collen Robert Doyle, I, 66, passed away Sunday evening at Hospice Savannah. Mr. Doyle was retired from Chatham Construction as a dump truck driver and was Methodist by faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting matchbox cars and trains but above all he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Doyle and Dorothy Adams Doyle.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Dorothy Jean McGilton Doyle; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Keith Gerry of Waterboro, ME; sons and a daughter-in-law, Collen and Dee Doyle, II of Pembroke and Steven J. Doyle of Arundel, ME; brothers; Joe Doyle of Savannah and Stephen Doyle of Akron, OH; sister, Anita Draginor of Florida; grandchildren, Ashley Tipton, Paul Doyle, Trisha Doyle, Alexis Doyle, Mark Bender, Tim Carter, Amanda Hussey, Scott Gerry, Sarah Hussey, Brendan Gerry, Thomas Gerry, Mariah Gerry, Olivia Gerry and Lydia Gerry; Great-grandchildren, Zoe Nguyen, Parker Nguyen, Louis Gerry and Chris Terell, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at the funeral home from 5 – 8 P.M.
