Pembroke-Mr. Christopher Troy Krohn Howe, age 21, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014. Troy had lived most of his life in Pembroke and was a 2011 graduate of Bryan County High School. He played offensive line for the Bryan County Redskins, was a member of the Beta Club, was an avid musician and a lead singer for My Kingdom Red. He loved theatre especially dramatic interpretation where he placed in state competition. Troy was a prolific writer, was a published poet and had a very giving spirit.

He is survived by his parents Scott (Brook) Howe of Pembroke and Sheryl (Mark) Salyers of Macon, a brother Trevor Howe of Pembroke, maternal grandmother Melanie Greenway of Macon; aunts and uncles Mike and Maria Powell of Hilton Head Island, Don and Jan Howe of Columbia, and Zack Howe of Pembroke, and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held 7 P.M. Friday, May 23, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Pembroke with Rev. Bob Creech and Dr. Brad Butler officiating. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
