Mrs. Carolyn E. Sorrell, 80, passed away at Evans Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 10, 2016. Mrs. Sorrell was born in Bulloch County to the late Henry and Bertie Scott on March 4, 1936. She was a lifelong self-employed hairdresser.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Calvin Sorrell.
Survivors include her five children, Elizabeth C. Lee (Bill) of Savannah, C. Douglas Sorrell (Beth) of Pembroke, Cathy Hughes of Bay District, Christine C. Stout (Keith) of Winder and Lori Ann Fordham (Randy) of Brooklet; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial service for Mrs. Carolyn E. Sorrell will be held at a later date.
