Mr. Carl Lee Stanley, age 46 passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at Candler Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Stanley was a native of Varnville, SC and lived in Sylvania before moving to Statesboro. Carl was a tow truck driver for Archie’s Towing and Recovery and was a volunteer firefighter. He was preceded in death by his father, John Harold Stanley.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Thelma and Clint Tilley of Sylvania; two daughters, Kayla Stanley and her husband, Keith of Pembroke and Shana Stanley and her fiancé, Jessie Muns of Metter; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Elaine Stanley of Hampton, SC, James Stanley of Varnville, John “Jr.” and Renee Stanley of Cumming, SC, and Charles “C.W. “ and Tabitha Stanley of Sylvania; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lydia and Mike Cook of Varnville, Libby and Johnny Priester of Hampton, and Windy Stanley of Varnville; and three grandchildren, Gatlin Muns and Kirsten and Case Shuman.
Visitation will be held Noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Northside Cemetery.
