Mr. Calvin Sorrell, 83, passed away at Camellia Health and Rehabilitation on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Mr. Sorrell was born in Menifee County, Kentucky to the late Elmer and Myrtle Sorrell on June 16, 1932. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a millwright worker for the Millwright Local Union #256 of Savannah.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carolyn E. Sorrell; five children, Elizabeth C. Lee (Bill) of Savannah, C. Douglas Sorrell (Beth) of Pembroke, Cathy Hughes of Bay District, Christine C. Stout (Keith) of Winder and Lori Ann Fordham (Randy) of Brooklet; sister, Louise Swain and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial service for Mr. Calvin Sorrell will be held at a later date.
