Brian Taylor, Sr.

Pembroke- Mr. Brian Kent Taylor, Sr.; age 67 passed away at Augusta University Medical Center.  Mr. Taylor was a native of Warren, Michigan and a long-time resident of Savannah.  He was a truck driver working out of the Georgia Port in Savannah for both Western Express Trucking and C & T Trucking.  Mr. Taylor was a veteran having served in both the United States Army and Navy and was an avid sports fan.  He loved to tell jokes and make everyone laugh.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Taylor

Survivors include his wife, Joan Taylor; sons and daughter-in-law, Brian, Jr. and Angie Taylor of Black Creek and Jordan Taylor of Pembroke; daughter and son-in-law, Liza and Lee Palefsky of Savannah; stepdaughter, Wendi Riggs of Metter; grandchildren, Chase Amberson, Carston Ross, Haidyn Taylor, Valerie Morris, Emma Palefsky; Willie Riggs and Summer Riggs.

A memorial service to honor Mr. Taylor will be held at a later date.
