Brian Harvey

Mr. Brian Harvey, age 54, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Harvey was born in Savannah on October 9, 1968 to Judge John R. Harvey and Rita Crawford Belcher. He was employed with the City of Pembroke as the Community Development Director and formally worked in planning and zoning for the City of Pt. Wentworth for 14 years. He enjoyed watching movies and going to the gun range.

He is preceded in death by his father, Judge John R. Harvey.

Survivors include his daughter, Allison Harvey of Savannah; former wife, Misty Harvey of Claxton; mother, Rita Belcher; step mother, Olivia Harvey; brother, John Harvey and his wife Dana of Savannah; nephew Daniel Harvey; niece, Ella Harvey and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be held at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
