Brenda Leigh Leahy, age 40 passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center after an extended illness.  Mrs. Leahy was born May 14, 1978 in Sunrise, FL to Theresa T. Leahy and Thomas Patrick Leahy, Sr.  Mrs. Leahy was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, sewing, baking, event planning and time at the beach; but most important was her time with family.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is survived by her son Joshua Elrod of Eglin Air Force Base; two daughters, Alexis Rayner of Ellabell and Khaela Rayner of Oklahoma; four brothers, Peter Leahy of Michigan, Steven Leahy of Kansas, Thomas Leahy, II of Woodstock and Ryan Leahy of Newnan and one sister, Toni Rolando of Ellabell.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Monday, July 9, 2018 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Chaplain Keith Ferguson officiating.
