Mrs. Brenda Kay Douglas, 54, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Douglas was born in Savannah on February 14, 1963 to James Allen Hill, Sr. and Edna Faye Hill. She was a member of the Compassion Christian Church Midway where she was active in teaching Children’s Church and arts and crafts. She also enjoyed history and working outside and was previously employed with Richmond Hill Pre-Kindergarten as a custodian where she knew and loved every child there.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 ½ years, Thomas “Tommy” Edward Douglas, Sr. and two sons, Christopher Douglas and Zachary Douglas.

Survivors include her son, Thomas E. Douglas, Jr. of Ellabell; parents, James Allen Hill, Sr. and Edna Faye Hill; brother, Allen Hill and his wife Kathy of Midway and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m.

Funeral service will follow in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John-Mark Romans officiating.

Burial will be private.
