Mrs. Bonnie Kate Sikes Sumner, age 75, passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Mrs. Sumner was born in Pembroke on October 17, 1944 to the late Austin and Kate Lee Sikes. She was of the church of God faith and enjoyed collecting lighthouses and ceramics. She was a licensed practical nurse for over 29 years and worked with Southland Health Care.

Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Grady V. and Becky Sikes of Ellabell; sister and brother-in-law, Vonnie Kate and Jerry Vincent of Ludowici; two stepsons, Wayne Sumner and Jeff Sumner;  two grandchildren, Timothy Wayne Toler, II and Darah Penelope Hartley and one great-grandson, Timothy “Trip” Toler, III.

Funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with her brother, Grady Sikes officiating.  Interment will follow at Northside Cemetery.
