Mrs. Betty Ann Moore, 79, passed away at her residence Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Moore was born on April 21, 1936 to the late Charles Inman Josey, Jr. and Reba Windham Josey in Wheeler County. She was worked as the Deputy Clerk of Courts for Bryan County for 12 years, was of the Primitive Baptist faith, was the former Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, she also enjoyed genealogy and reading.

She is preceded in death by her son, Steven D. Moore.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, William Spencer Moore, Sr.; son, William Spencer Moore, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Rick Josey of Savannah; five grandchildren, Brian and Krista of Pembroke, Greg and Madison Moore of Baton Rouge, LA. and Samantha Moore of Statesboro; nieces and nephews, Reagan Owens, Austin and Leslie.

Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery.

Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Betty Ann Moore.
