Mr. Arthur Joe Oliver, Jr., 53, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Mr. Oliver, Jr. was Baptist by faith and worked as a welder with Cooper/T. Smith Stevedoring Company; he enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, had a passion for animals but loved nothing more than his mother.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Louise Green.
Survivors include his son, Joshua Boring of Bryan County; father, Arthur Joe Oliver, Sr.; brother, Samuel Clyde Oliver of Garfield and sisters, Teresa Heinemann of Ellabell and Angela Henderson of Savannah.
A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m.
