Mrs. Annie Ruth Conner, 83, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Conner was born in Statesboro on June 14, 1934 to the late William Ellis and Annie Laura Aldrich Haddock. She worked for Power Break and Wheel Company Inc. as a secretary; enjoyed reading, loved to work puzzles and was a member of Pembroke United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Conner and daughter, Pamela C. Smith.

Survivors include one son, William Lawson Smith; son-in-law, James A. Patrick and one grandson, Ellis Daniel Patrick.
